Data RecoveryAllied Computer Consulting offers data recovery
services for corrupt hard drives and forensic information. We have
developed several of our own techniques and tools as well as partnered with
industry leaders to bring you the best service possible. We offer this as
a pick up service in the Nashville Middle Tennessee area, as well as a
nation-wide mail-in service. Due to our vast experience with various
recoveries we have developed several techniques to revive old drives. We
can recover information
If you would like to request our Data Recovery service then please contact us or go to our Request Service page and we'll get back to you with a free estimate. In many cases it will be necessary for the drive(s) to be sent in for examination. Alert! Data recovery should not be attempted by amateurs. Attempts to recover data by non-experienced individuals may lead to further data corruption and may render the media useless and unrecoverable. What should you do if your hard drive crashes and you need data recovery services?
Secure Data DeletionIn addition to our Data Recovery service we also offer a Secure Data Deletion service (AKA anti-data recovery, disk wiping, killdisk, etc), which will permanently erase hard drive data. We use software in accordance with the Department of Defense clearing and sanitizing standard DOD 5220.22-M, the standard for erasure of top secret government documents. Our software overwrites with a crypto-based random number generator. We'll take your old drive and make the information unrecoverable, then return it to you with a log certifying the drive has been cleaned. Contrary to popular belief a simple fdisk and reformat will not make your data unrecoverable. If you don't believe us try our data recovery service after you've reformatted, most or all of your files will come back. This service is available for hard drives as well as most other media including: USB drives, memory cards, diskettes, zip disks and CD/DVD. Why would you want to make files unrecoverable?
How do you prevent ever using a Data Recovery service? Simple, just back your files up periodically to CD, DVD, or an external drive. External drive is the most preferable. To be real safe store your backup in another location, preferably a safety deposit box. Another precaution you should take is to not ignore system problems when they occur such as scan disk and occasional boot failures. These types of problems are signs imminent hard drive failure. |
